About the event
With Spring upon us, now is the time to prep our gardens and lands for pollinator food year around! We are going to have 3 guest speakers:
Diana McGrath from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Division will discuss wildlife rehab programs, their benefits and how you can sign up for resources through the NRCS's EQIP program to get government assistance to help
Paul Sumner & Amy Heidt from the Coastal Plain Chapter of the Georgia Native Plant Society will be speaking about plants for your gardens and land for pollinators, where you can find them, & their benefits
As we become more aware of the impact of invasive ornamental plants and the need to remove them, learning what to plant to replace the food for our honey bees and native pollinators becomes even more important than ever! Don't miss this great opportunity to meet people with the resource…
